What is the Safe & Sound Protocol?
The Safe and Sound Protocol is an evidence-based therapeutic tool designed to reset the nervous system and return it to safety. Designed to work with other therapeutic approaches and modalities, the SSP features specially filtered music that stimulates the vagus nerve. By calming the physiological and emotional state, the door is opened for improved communication and more successful therapy.
The Safe & Sound Protocol Supported program is suitable for children and adults, the SSP has demonstrated benefits for individuals with trauma, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and much more.
The Safe and Sound Protocol SSP includes total five hours of listening. However, this can range from 10 minutes at a time, or an hour at a time- it depends how your body responds to the time limits we set.
Participants set the pace, and with our SSP trained practitioners’ support, you design the optimal way to complete your SSP program.
